Lead Pastor - Bradley Brown

"Hi, I'm Pastor Bradley! I'm married to my best friend, Kelly, and together we have three children: Trinity, Cason, and Liam. I cherish time with my family! In my spare time I enjoy movies, music, and photography. I firmly believe that pineapple belongs on pizza and that coffee is how we know God loves us.

I am extremely passionate concerning accurate biblical truth and knowledge. The book of James teaches, “Not many of you should become teachers, my fellow believers, because you know that we who teach will be judged more strictly” (3:1). Furthermore, Paul told Timothy, “Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth” (2 Tim. 2:15). When I preach or teach I am careful to never preach my opinion. I am also careful not to allow church tradition to be viewed as biblical commands. The Word of God must be handled properly and taught within biblical context.

As a follower of Jesus, my goal is to reach people for Christ and to help them develop into spiritually mature believers. I desire to see God’s people live and interact with one another like a loving family - defending one another, crying with one another, laughing with one another, learning with one another, and serving with one another.

Another goal of mine is to see the church become well known in the community as a place of love, encouragement, and refuge — a place that loves people and will welcome anyone who walks through the doors of the church; a church that welcomes people as they are but will introduce them to the God who will not leave them as they are; a group of people whose faith & actions are working together; a church that does not shun those who struggle but rather a gathering of people who bear one another’s burdens.

The moon has no light of its own but simply reflects the light of the sun. My vision for Pioneer is that we would reflect the light of God and that the people throughout our community will see our good deeds and glorify our Father in heaven (Matt. 5:16)."
